Rule of Hugo Revel, 1262: It is established that the brothers must not wear a biretta (pillbox hat - birretum bonneti in the Latin rule, chapeau de bonet in French) of silk or camlet (a material made of camel's wool), and that the biretta must cover the brother's ears on both sides.

Order of making:
1) Cut the material along the patterns leaving seam allowances
2) Baste the pieces
3) Sew the pieces
4) Turn the edges once and hem
All sewing must be done only by hand.
