Italy, Florence, National Library, *Cantigas de Santa Maria* collection, No. 275-F103V: The Virgin of Terena cures two friars of the Order of St. John of rabies. Work of Alfonso X the Wise (1221–1284).
Particular attention should be paid to the garment worn over the cotte (only the sleeves of the cotte are visible). This is likely the outer garment known as a "garnache."
Image - Fragments from the *Book of Games* of Alfonso X (1251–1282). The headwear and the colors of the cottes and cloaks—black and brown—are of particular interest.
