Braies (Patterns)

Order of making:
1) Cut the material along the patterns leaving seam allowances.
2) Sew the first and second half from the bottom up to the curve.
3) Attach the gusset starting from the curve toward one of the halves. Note that the gusset is sewn above the curve (along the blue stripes). The "curve" on the gusset and on the finished garment is marked in violet.
4) Attach the gusset to the other half in the same way so that the halves are joined only by the gusset.
5) Sew the halves together starting from the gusset.
6) Fold the edges along the dotted line and sew, leaving room for the drawstring at the top and bottom of the braies.
7) Make holes on the outside of the braies for the laces every 3 cm and overcast them.
8) Overcast all inner seams.
9) Braid the cords.
10) Thread the cords through the waistband and the bottom of the braies.
All sewing must be done only by hand.
